Thakur submits memorandum of demands to DC Kathua

JAMMU, July 31: JK School Education Employees Co ordination Committee /JK Govt Teacher’s Forum chairman and president Incharge Lecturers KLUTs, Amar Nath Thakur submitted a memorandum of demands to D C Kathua through ADC Kathua for immediate action.
Main demands in memorandum included deployment of all 57 Excise and Sale Tax employees in COVID-19 duty at Toll Post Lakhanpur, providing all required facilities like safe and packed drinking water, plastic sheet sheds at all COVID-19 counters for all incoming passengers, insurance cover as promised by Government to all employees deployed on COVID-19 duty, proper four time senitization of whole area and buildings after proper checking by a medical team, providing PPE kits, face coverings plastic sheets to employees on duty , all proper stationery material, electric fans, light arrangements, rotational deployment of every employee of all departments without repeating any employee again and again, deployment of females employees for dealing the female passengers, exempting all those teachers and employees from deployment in COVID-19 duty who are above 55 years, rotational 8- hour duty instead of 12 hours at some counters, salary to all deployed in data center Lakhanpur, packed one time food to all employees, etc
Informing that the teachers were performing their duties in quarantine centres, toll posts, Railway Stations, Airports etc in summer vacations, he demanded earned leave benefit to all summer zone teachers who were deployed in the fight against coronavirus duties.
