BANGKOK, June 12: Thailand’s finance minister said on Wednesday he was not worried about recent capital outflows because they could help balance flows and the Thai baht.
‘It’s not a surprise to see the outflows because there had been large inflows since the middle of last year,’ Kittirat Na Ranong told reporters.
The baht was at 31.07 per dollar, around its 8-month low, due to fund outflows from Thai assets.
