JAMMU, Oct 19: Police tonight arrested a terror suspect from near the International Border in Hiranagar tehsil of Kathua district after it was detected that he was passing on information to Pakistan on mobile telephone.
He has been identified as 35-year-old Rukamdin.
Arrest was made by the police after specific information was developed that some telephone calls have been made across the border.
“After surveillance, Rukamdin was arrested and has been taken to Kathua for sustained interrogation. A mobile telephone has also been recovered from his possession,” police sources said, adding details will be known after questioning.
