DODA, May 21: The terminated paramedical staff continued their protest for the eighth consecutive day here.
A large number of terminated paramedical staff assembled outside Government Medical College (GMC) here and held protest.
The protestors were raising slogans in favour of their demand of reinstatement.
While speaking, President Paramedical Association Doda Ishfaq Habib Mir demanded extension letter to continue the work in ongoing tough times of COVID-19 pandemic.
“The termination action of the authorities is totally against the norms and departmental ethics”, he added.
On behalf of protesting paramedical staff, the President has appealed to the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir GC Murmu to intervene and redress the issue.
