TERII announces special concession for J&K students

JAMMU, June 5: Technology Technical Education & Research Integrated Institutions (TERII), Kurukshetra, has set up an exclusive in-house ‘Corporate Resource Centre’ to  liaise with industry for the purpose of campus placements, summer industrial trainings etc.
The centre consists of a team of six industry professionals headed by Sanjay Khanduri, who has industry experience of more than 20 years at senior position in the HR Departments, informed Er Rajive Singh, Dean, Public Relations of TERII, while addressing a press conference here today.
He also announced special concession of Rs 10,000 for boys and Rs 15,000 for girls of Jammu and Kashmir in the admission fee for various courses including B Tech and MBA.
Mr Singh  said that another exclusive in-house ‘Employability Skills Training centre’ has also been established in TERII for developing professional and presentation skills among the students of B Tech, Diploma, MBA and BBA.
He said that with great efforts, some leading brands of the country as well as MNCs were brought to TERII for campus placement drives during session 2012-13.
Rajive Singh further said that the students of other institutes and of other states, particularly that of J & K, shall also be benefited by the move. He was highly suggestive for early career settlement of J & K students through Diploma LEET/ B Tech LEET, which are 2 year/ 3 year programs after 10+2/ Diploma.
He assured that TERII shall have special consideration for J&K girl students as well as students following the LEET route. He invited J & K students and parents to visit TERII and chat with students who are already studying in TERII in large number and are totally satisfied with the facilities, academics, placements and campus life.
