DODA, Nov 19: Continuing its drive against traffic violators, Police here today while conducting checking on different routes seized 10 vehicles and challaned 85 other vehicles for violating traffic laws.
It is pertinent to mention here that in this special drive against traffic violators, Doda Police apart from registration of FIRs against drivers, has seized and challaned a number of passenger vehicles for overloading and other traffic violations.
Doda Police has appealed to the general public to cooperate and provide information, if any, driver especially of passenger vehicles is noticed in overloading or driving rashly and negligently their vehicles and stringent action will be taken by Police which may include suspension of vehicle documents and driving license of drivers besides registration of FIRs against them.
