JAMMU, Dec 5: A teenager was injured in an accidental gunshot at village Lahri in Billawar tehsil of Kahtua district today.
He was immediately shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu by family members in a serious condition.
Hospital sources said that he has sustained bullet injury in his right leg and it is not ascertained that whether the teenager was himself trifling with the gun or any body else in the family was cleaning the gun when the fire went off accidently.
The Billawar Police had no information of the incident and the District Police Kathua was also informed by GMC after the boy was admitted there for treatment by family.
