RAMBAN, Dec 17: A teenager was killed and two others sustained injuries after Alto car rolled down in Bhagu nallah in Batote today morning.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK06A-8771 was on its way to Jammu from Bhaderwah, when the driver lost control over the wheels and the vehicle rolled down into Bhagu nallah in Batote.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and started rescue operation with the help of locals.
The injured persons were retrieved from the gorge and shifted to CHC Batote, where they were undergoing treatment, when last reports came in.
The deceased was identified as Vikas Kumar (19), son of Sanjay Kumar of Bhaderwah District Doda, whereas the injured were identified as Rahul Anand and Shiv prakash, sons of Dhuni Chand, residents of Bhaderwah District Doda.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Batote and investigation started.
