UDHAMPUR, Mar 6: In an apparent case of suicide, a teenage girl was found hanging from ceiling fan hook at his house in village Dalsar, Ramnagar Tehsil, here today.
The deceased was identified as Sultana Begum (16), daughter of Abdul Rahim, resident of Chowki, A/P Dalsar in Ramnagar. She was hanging from a ceiling fan hook at her home under mysterious circumstances.
On being informed by the family member, Police team from Police Station Ramnagar rushed to the spot and took the dead body in their custody.
Later, the dead body was shifted to Sub District Hospital Ramnagar for the postmortem and a case under Section 174 was registered for further investigation. Cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be ascertained.
