JAMMU, Mar 3: On second day of “National Conference on Microscopy & Advances in Material Sciences (NCMAMS – 2015) at Jammu University, technical sessions were held.
The first technical session was chaired by Prof R P Tandon. This session had four invited talks by Prof B K Das of Gauhati University, Prof D Mohan of GJUST Hisar, Haryana, Dr Pankaj Poddar of CSIR-National Chemical Lab Pune and Prof Vinay Gupta of University of Delhi, Delhi.
The next technical session was chaired by Prof B K Das of Gauhti University. This session had two invited talks by Dr Monika Tomar of Miranda House, University of Delhi, Prof Rakesh Dhar of GJUS &T Hisar and followed by oral presentation by Seema Verma. Dr Monika Tomar gave an overview of “Ferroelectric thin films for energy harvesting applications”. Prof Rakesh Dhar spoke on the topic of, “The Anti Bacterial biofilm Activity of Tin Oxide Thin Film”. Seema Verma spoke on the topic of “Structural and spectroscopic characteristic of zircon nanostructure pure and mixed cerium orthovanadate”.
