SAMBA, July 24: A meeting of Jammu Kashmir Government Teachers Forum was held at Samba under the chairmanship of Satish Dutta, State President of the Forum for discussing the issuing of teaching community.
In the meeting, Mr Dutta appealed Government for releasing the salary of ReTs, RReTs and head teachers and newly appointed teachers who are working under SSA RMSA and NPS. He said teachers are without salary for the last two months and more while their arrears have not been drawn till date.
Rahul Sambyal, provincial president of the Forum, demanded that the teachers promoted as Masters in February 2014 should be adjusted at the earliest. He also appealed to DDEJ to give directions to all CEOs to make the entries to period of Talash Survey in the service book record of the eligible teachers. He also demanded release of Rationalization list of teachers in District Samba for smooth functioning of the institutions.
Sahdev Singh stressed for the issuance of GPF statements year wise. Those who were present in the meeting, included Surjeet Singh, Rakesh Verma, Anuraj Sharma Parshotam Sethi, Kimati Lal, Ganesh Dutt and others.
