SAMBA, Oct 21: A delegation of Provincial Teachers Association, led by Mushtaq Ali, called on Chief Education Officer Samba and apprised him of the problems being faced by the teachers under SSA, whose salary has not been released for the last few months.
He demanded that salary of these teachers should be released before Diwali festival. He also demanded that salary of all the teachers of Samba district should be released timely every month besides issuance of GP Fund statement in time.
Ashwani Sharma, zonal general secretary of the Association, drew attention of the CEO towards the transfer of regularized ReT teachers, particularly those who got married outside the zone and said that necessary orders in this regard should be implemented soon.
The delegation comprised of Achal Dev Singh, Rampal Sharma, Janak Raj, Dhruv Singh, Naresh Kumar, Darshan Singh and others.
