BHADERWAH, Jan 16: Seven persons were injured, when the Tata mobile vehicle, they were traveling in turned turtle on road near Assar.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK15-4325 was on its way from Gurmal to Assar, when the driver lost control over the steering and it turned turtle near Assar, resulting into injuries to seven persons.
On getting information, locals and police team rushed to the spot and started rescue operation. All the injured were shifted to Primary Health Centre Assar from where two persons were referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
The injured have been identified as Farid Ahmed, son of Mohammad Qasim, Mohammad Rafiq, son of Noor Mohammad, Mohammad Sadiq, son of Allah Din, Jamal Din, son of Mir Mohammad, Bashir Ahmed, son of Noor Din, Mukhtiar Ahmed, son of Noor Din, all resident of Nowgam Pogal Banihal, Nissar Ahmed, son of Mohammad Shafi of Baggar Doda.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at police station Assar and investigation started.
