JAMMU, June 8: The Department of Urdu, University of Jammu, today added a new feather in its cap when its six monthly Research Journal ‘Tasalsul’ was considered as referred journal by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
`Tasalsul’ was started in 1998 and now it has become one of the leading Journals of Urdu world, being regularly published by the Department of Urdu, JU. Prof Shohab Inayat Malik is the Editor-in-Chief of `Tasalsul’, who has brought out some special numbers
of the Journal which were liked by one and all in the Urdu world.
Theses numbers include Mantoo Number, Faiz Ahmed Faiz Number, Sir Sayeed Ahmed Khan Number, Makhtoot Number, Rasa Javedani Number, etc
`Tasalsul’ provides a platform to the budding writers of the country.
