Tarigami, INTACH Convener call on Governor

JAMMU, Dec 24: Mohammed Yousuf Tarigami, MLA Kulgam, called on N.N. Vohra, the Governor, at Raj Bhavan, here today.
Tarigami briefed the Governor about the Central and State Government developmental schemes under implementation in his Constituency and the severe hardships being faced by the people on account of the continuing shortage of power supply. He also discussed with the Governor certain issues relating to the electoral schedules in 2014.
Salim Beigh, State Convener of the Indian Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH) also called on Mr Vohra, and briefed him about the progress achieved in the cultural resource mapping of the historical city of Srinagar and preparation of the heritage map of the city and also about the to-date status of the restoration and conservation of the Mughal Gardens of Nishat, Shalimar and Achabal.
