URI, Apr 9: Minister of Health and Medical Education, Taj Mohi-ud-Din addressed an election rally at Chandanwari Uri today. He was accompanied by Mir Mushtaq Nowsherry, district president Baramulla and others.
Speaking on the occasion Taj Mohi-ud-Din told the Congress Party activists to vote and support coalition candidates (NC) and ensure their victory. He told the workers to abide by the directive of the party high command and work hard for ensuring the victory of coalition candidates.
Taj Mohi-ud-Din explained to the gathering in detail that the manifesto issued by the BJP, long last, was nothing short of spreading falsehood. Giving an example of the falsehood of BJP, he emphasized the fact that building of Ram Temple, abrogation of Article 370 of the Constitution of India and Common Civil Code had been mentioned in all the manifestoes during the last twenty (20) years, but BJP had failed to take any action in this behalf. It was falsehood then and it is falsehood today, he added.
Taj reminded the gathering that the BJP was in power at the Centre for more than six years, and they did not do any thing to achieve this goal. He told the audience that it is the BJP’s slogan-mongering, otherwise, this party knows that these are not achievable goals.
The Minister told the rally that victory of coalition candidates is the victory of secularism and it will be a befitting reply to those who believe in communalism.
Those who addressed the gathering included Mir Mushtaq, district president Baramulla, Salman Nizami, Sarpanchs, Panchs, block presidents and prominent workers of the party.
