JAMMU, Jan 24: T.R Gupta Public Charitable Trust distributed blankets and woolen socks to the needy people at village Rattian in R.S Pura, the native place of the Trust Chairman, T.R Gupta.
Locals of the area appreciated the noble gesture of the Trust during the harsh winter.
The beneficiaries were identified by the local Numberdar, Kuldip Singh and village committee members including Joginder Singh, Rajinder Singh, Surinder Sharma, Pt. Kaku Ram, Dev Raj, Sunny Singh and Kala.
Speaking on the occasion Dr. Ashok Kumar Gupta, Trustee, said that continuing with efforts to help the needy persons, the Trust has started a free medical clinic at its head office in Marble Market which functions from 10:30 am to 5 pm on all working days. “Free medicines are provided to the poor patients there,” he said and asked the people to take benefit of this facility.
A Langer will also be organized on January 26, 2023 from 1 pm to 3 pm at Trust office in Marble Market.
Other Trustees present on the occasion were Rajinder Motial, Kailash Langer, Yash Pal Gupta and Ajay Sabharwal.
