RAJOURI, Mar 2: A symposium on the topic “Abuses of Drugs in Young Generation” was organised at GDC Budhal in collaboration with district police Rajouri.
Zahid Farooq Mir secured first position in the seminar and was awarded cash prize of Rs 3000. Liyakat Ali and Naseem Akhter bagged second and third positions and were given cash award of Rs 2000 and Rs 1000 respectively.
Dr Sajir Malik presided over the function while Additional SP Rajouri Tajinder Singh was the chief guest and Naib Tehsildar Budhal Khurshid Tantery was guest of honour.
Prof Dr Najam Bhat conducted proceedings of the function where as Prof Rahul Sharma presented formal vote of thanks.
Prof Priksha Raina, Prof Vandana Sharma and Prof Altaf Ahmed acted as jury members. Prof Heena and Prof Tanveer Ahmed concluded the result.
