LOS ANGELES, Aug 11: “Twilight” star Taylor Lautner, who dated Taylor Swift briefly, has revealed that the singer, known for drawing inspiration from her relationships, based “Back to December” on him.
Lautner, 24, said this while being grilled by “Glee” actress Lea Michele during a Facebook Live video to promote “Scream Queens”.
When the topic shifted to past relationships, Michele asked Lautner, “You dated Taylor Swift, I remember that.”
“Should we talk about it?” she asked.
“No! I don’t know why you guys want to talk about it,” Lautner said.
“Didn’t she write a song about you?” Michele asked.
“That’s what she does. She writes songs,” he responded.
“Didn’t she write a song about you? I think it’s something about a sweater and a hat, right?… It’s like, your hat in December!”
Lautner finally relented and said, “It’s called ‘Back to December’.”
Fans have always speculated that the song from Swift’s 2010 album ‘Speak Now’, was about Lautner.
The couple, who dated after working on “Valentine’s Day”, had just broken up. (PTI)
