JAMMU, Mar 8: Swarnkar Sangh Jammu province has decided not to observe strike on March 10 as announced by Bullian Association in the country.
In a meeting of the Sangh held here today under the chairmanship of Raj Kumar Babbar (president), it was unanimously decided to accord full support to the Bullian Association in the struggle in view of hike announced on Excise duty on raw gold by Central Government. But at the same, the body announced that goldsmiths/ jewelers in province Jammu would not close their shops on March 10.
They claimed that their body would present a memorandum to the State Government and also to the Governor for the reddressal of their demands. The Sangh would decide next course of action at its own if their demands are not addressed, they added.
Prominent among those who attended meeting included Raghubir Saraf, Kulbhushan Anand, Jagdish Sehdev, Rajinder Sehdev, Sanjay Verma, Ashok Nagi, Vijay Verma, Ashok Suri and others.
