JAMMU, May 6: Swaran Vihar Welfare Association in its general body meeting held under the chairmanship of Col (retd) P L Choudhary, Presiding Officer elected the new committee here, today.
The meeting elected D N Thaploo as president of the Welfare Committee. R K Koul and Kuldeep Raj Raina were elected as vice presidents. Hira Lal Pandita was elected as general secretary, N M Gadroo as working secretary and Subash Chander Verma as treasurer.
As per the Constitution of the Association the Executive Body will nominate the Executive Committee.
