JAMMU, Oct 24: Shree Vishwakarma Library (SVL), New Plot here today launched ‘Copy Project’ to provide free stationery to poor students and to prepare database to identify the talent.
The inaugural lot was distributed by special invitees Dr. Kanika Sagar Dheman, Ph. D Nanotechnology and Brig. Vijay Sagar Dhiman, a renowned personality of Jammu.
Giving details, Ramesh Angotra, Convener explained that the library has specially prepared 1000 note books with cartoon of Dr Ambedkar telling a labour child to stand-up and study to become a man of dignity. Inside the front cover page, name of former Prime Ministers and Presidents has been written and inspirational quotes are included on the backside of the cover. The notebooks shall be distributed @10 copies each poor student preferably the BPL living in remotest corner.
Raman Chalotra, vice chairman said all the beneficiary students shall be clubbed on a WhatsApp group in which good teachers shall also be added to keep teacher-student interaction at the click of a button.
Om Kataria, Rakesh Verma, Meenakshi Dhiman, Master Kuldeep Verma, Balwant Kataria, Mohinder Lal, Master Pritam Verma, Joginder Angotra, F.C Satia, Rajinder Sikka, Rattan Lal, Kunal Angotra and Avtar Verma were also present on the occasion.
