Kishtwar, Oct 3: Minister of State for Transport, PWD (R&B), Revenue, RDD and panchayti Raj Agricultural Production and YSS Sunil Sharma today visited District Hospital Kishtwar and took stock of the various facilities being provided to the patients there.
During the visit the Minister held a meeting with the hospital authorities and directed for ensuring all best available medicare facilities to the patients.
The concerned officer apprised the minister about the stock position and various issues and demands responding to which Sharma assured that the same would be resolved at an earliest.
The Minister also directed the Superintendent as well as staff to deliver their services with utmost dedication so as that the patients from far-flung areas of the district get best Medicare facilities in the hospital.
The Minister while visiting different wards interacted with patients and enquired about the well being besides various facilties being provided in the hospital.
Later the Minister visited the Under Construction Govt Polytechnic College near village Berwar and took stock of the progress of the work. The Minister directed the concerned to expedite the pace of work for ensuring time bound completion of the work.
