Sunil Dimple observes hunger strike

JAMMU, July 9: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) president, Sunil Dimple here today sat on one day hunger strike near Mahraja Hari Singh’s statue demanding restoration of Statehood to J&K, strengthening of PRC and withdrawal of Domicile Certificate.
Addressing the protesters Dimple said that imposition of Domicile Certificate and SRO 202 in J&K amounts to murder of democracy.
He started the hunger strike after paying tributes to Maharaja Hari Singh, Mahatma Gandhi, Pt Prem Nath Dogra, Brigadier Rajinder Singh and Subash Chander Bose.
He said that he sought blessing of these great personalities to get strength for leading an agitation for the restoration of statehood to J&K.
Sita Ram Rakwal, Sandeep Sharma, Naresh Gupta, Brij Mohan Mehra and others were also present on the occasion.
