JAMMU, July 9: An 18-year-old youth was found hanging today in Gharota area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, the dead body of Nasir Choudhary (18) son of Jamat Ali, resident of Upper Burn (Bhalwal) was found hanging this morning at his residence. He said, on getting information, police shifted the body to Government Medical College Jammu and after postmortem, handed it over to its legal heirs.
“In this connection, inquest proceeding under 174 CrPC has been initiated at police station Gharota,” the official added.
