MENDHAR, Mar 17: A Tata Sumo driver has been arrested by police on the charge of kidnapping and rape of a young girl in Mendhar area of district Poonch.
The police said on the complaint of parents of the girl hailing from Chhajla village, the police registered a case FIR No. 44/ 2019 against driver Mehmood Ahmed and his two associates. While driver was arrested today, the other two were still at large. The police has started manhunt for them.
