JAMMU : Government today announced 42 day-long summer vacations starting from June 6.
According to the order, Commissioner Secretary, School Education Department, Shaleen Kabra, all Government Educational Institutions and recognised private schools upto Higher Secondary level will observe vacations from June 6 to July 17.
Any default on the part of private schools in observance of the calendar of the summer vacations so authorized will attract action under rules, read an order.
