JAMMU, Jan 10: Atholi Police averted a suicide attempt by a lady.
As per police sources, cops at Layee Padder noticed a lady moving towards Chenab river to commit suicide.
Acting swiftly, the cops rescued her when she was about to jump into the river.
Timely action by cops led by SHO Atholi Inspector Vikas Jasrotia today saved a precious life of the lady.
An enquiry into the matter has been initiated and action as envisaged under law will follow accordingly.
