JAMMU, Aug 13: A deputation of Sudhar Labour Union Palmar, Dachhan and Marwah led by its President Raja Ram met Project Director of Jaiprakash Associates Limited RK Sharma.
The deputation apprised Sharma that the land and structures of the families acquired for the construction of Pakal Dul HEPP have been deprived of compensation.
Raja Ram while speaking demanded employment to one member of each family, whose land and structures have been acquired for the construction of project. He also asked the Project Director to take up the issue of payment of compensation with the District Administration.
The deputation urged the executing agency to make the recruitment in the project from the district and not from outside the district Kishtwar.
