JAMMU, Feb 12: The SR College of Competitions (SRCC) here today organised an interaction cum workshop for the Civil Services (CS) aspirants.
The session was conducted by Suchiter Sharma who has qualified the CS Examination 2021 with 146th rank.
Interacting with the aspirants, Sharma shared his journey right from the beginning and talked about how the idea of CS struck to his mind and he started preparing for the same during his college days and also joined SRCC for coaching.
He shared in detail his strategy for CS preparation, the problems he faced and the solutions he attempted to overcome those problems.
A handout stated that Suchiter Sharma elaborated all the aspects including the scheme and pattern of the exam, approach for Prelims and Mains, use of online sources etc for both prelims and mains.
He also motivated the students about answer writing practice on regular basis etc.
The response to the workshops was overwhelming and the attendees appreciated the initiative taken by SRCC.
The attendees included the aspirants preparing for IAS 2022 and JKAS 2021 (mains) and JKAS 2022 and also undergraduates who will be eligible in a couple of years.
“Such interactions encourage, motivate and inculcate a sense of confidence,” said Parveen Sharma Director SRCC.
“SRCC keeps on organising such online and offline workshops, seminars etc with IAS officers, JKAS toppers and various subject experts,” informed Office Coordinator, Ajay Salathia.
