Jammu, July 7: The officials of District Social Welfare Department in Pulwama destroyed substandard food items in Lassipora Industrial Estate.
The items include 56 quintals of turmeric powder, 70 quintals of milk powder and 18570 litres of oil. The items were worth 3871202 rupees, the officials said.
The items were meant for supplies of Angan wadi centers.
The action was taken on the directions of DC Pulwama, Neeraj Kumar.
