JAMMU, July 7: University of Jammu organized two- day placement drive, conducted by the Azim Premji Foundation.
In total, 72 students appeared in the written test for their placement by the Azim Premji Foundation. The Students from Department of Biotechnology, Hindi, Chemistry, Zoology, Physics and Electronics, English, Geography and from Mathematics appeared for written test.
Earlier, Sunil Sah, State head of the Chattisgarh Institute, in his powerpoint presentation, outlined various objectives of the Foundation.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof R D Sharma, Vice-Chancellor, JU emphasized that the youth should move in quest for better prospects in light of the fact that movability additionally brings the general advancement of an individual. He thanked the Foundation for making an effort to come to Jammu university and also acknowledged the competence of Prof B C Sharma, Dean placement for organizing the placement drive in a professional manner.
The placement drive was coordinated by the office of Dean Students Welfare.
