DODA, June 25: The students held protest against non availability of transportation to and fro to their schools and colleges.
A large number of students assembled at Batri and held protest. They blocked the vehicular movement by blocking the Gandoh-Doda-Thathri road.
Amid slogans the students were demanding regular and timely transportation facilities. The protesting students alleged that due to non availability of transport facility they get late to their school and college everyday.
After getting information, Incharge Kahara Police Post SI Nazir Rishu reached the spot and assured the protesting students that their issues will be resolved at the earliest.
On the assurance, the students dispersed and vehicular movements was restored on the road.
