KATHUA, Aug 25: The students held protest and blocked the Bani-Basholi road against non-availability of transport, while going and coming back from schools and colleges.
Large number of students assembled at Jandotra village and held protest. They blocked the vehicular movement by blocking the Bani-Basholi road also.
Amid slogans, the students were demanding regular and timely transportation facilities. The protesting students alleged that due to non availability of transport facility, they get late to their school and college every day.
After getting information, ADC Sanjay Gupta reached the spot and assured the protesting students that their issue will be resolved at the earliest.
On the assurance, the protesting students dispersed and vehicular movement was restored on Bani-Basholi road.
