REASI, Oct 3: The students of Government High School Dharmatha in Arnas today boycotted their classes and staged a protest demonstration against non-availability of adequate teaching staff in the school.
The protesting students took out a march and staged a sit-in on main road. They were raising slogans and demanding adequate teaching staff in the school.
After boycotting their classes, the protesting students took out a march and blocked Arnas-Judda road amidst raising of slogans against Education Department. They appealed the Education Department to provide required staff in the school so that studies are not affected. “On one side, the Government is claiming that it will provide proper education to children, especially of rural area but on the ground the claim of the Government has proved to be hollow,” rued students.
Later the protest dharna was lifted on the intervention of local MLA Aijaz Khan and officials, who pacified the agitating students.
