DODA, Sept 21: The students of Government Degree College (GDC) Kilhotran today held protest against district administration for not providing adequate infrastructure in the college.
Amid slogans against district administration, the protesting students also blocked the vehicular movement on the road.
The students alleged that the Government has failed to provide a building to the college. They demanded immediate completion of GDC building with full-fledged staff.
Protesting students said that due to non-availability of the college building, the college is functioning in four rooms of the Government Higher Secondary School Kilhotra. “If the building is not completed and handed over to the college immediately, the protest will be intensified and for any untoward incident, the District Administration will be responsible”, the students warned.
Later, District Development Commissioner, Bhawani Rakwal along with SDM Gandoh Dil Mir Choudhary and SHO Gandoh Anayat Hussain reached the spot and assured the protesting students that their demands will be redressed at the earliest.
