SRINAGAR, Jan 7: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Pulwama, Mohd Yousif, today directed the officers to strengthen the security as well as the counter-insurgency grid across the district.
He issued these directives while chairing a crime and security review meeting at District Police Lines, Pulwama.
SSP emphasized the critical need to fortify the counter-insurgency and security grid across the district and stressed the importance of taking decisive actions against individuals involved in anti-national activities, maintaining vigilant surveillance in areas of concern.
He urged the participants to address and resolve various challenges related to policing and security in the district.
The meeting was attended by Addl. SP Pulwama, SP Hqrs Pulwama, DySP DAR, DySP PC Kakapora, SDPO Litter, SHOs, Incharge PPs of District Pulwama, and IC Police Components.
The officers were urged to make all possible efforts to fight against the menace of drug abuse and work with dedication to prevent social crimes.
SSP Pulwama emphasized to the participating officers to ensure quantitative and qualitative disposal of under investigation criminal cases.
“All officers were instructed to adopt a public-centric approach and to ensure timely redressal of their grievances.”
