Stop export of COVID vaccines: JWAM

JAMMU, Apr 11: Activists of Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) here today staged a protest demonstration claiming shortage of Corona vaccines in J&K.
The protest was led by JWAM leader, Sunil Dimple who claimed that J&K has only two days vaccine stock left.
He further said that ‘Teeka Utsav’ programme to vaccinate maximum eligible people is proving mockery as many vaccination centers are without the vaccine.
The JWAM leader said that export of COVID vaccine should be stopped as India has reached at number three in the list of the pandemic affected countries of the world.
He demanded one crore thirty lakh vaccines for J&K as per the population for the first dose.
Dimple said this time this pandemic is more dangerous and has become a community spread creating economic crisis in J&K and the country.
He also said that amidst the pandemic Jammu Municipal Corporation and municipalities of Jammu region have not started fogging.
