SRINAGAR, Nov 16: Stones were pelted on the People’s Democratic Party candidate from Sonawari, Yasir Reshi’s mortarcade at Asham in North Kashmir when he was campaigning in the area.
Several vehicles were damaged in the stone pelting. Reshi blamed NC workers for the attack and said that his three vehicles were damaged.
PDP spokesman condemned assault on his party candidate and blamed counter-insurgents affiliated with the NC. He demanded probe into the incident.
