Stolen water motors recovered, 1 arrested

SRINAGAR, May 10: The police has recovered stolen water motors and other equipment in connection with a theft case registered at Police Station Pulwama in south Kashmir.
A police spokesperson said the case FIR No. 21/2026 under Sections 305 and 331(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) has been registered. During the investigation, police detained and questioned an accused identified as Muzaffar Ahmad Dar. “Officials said the accused confessed to his involvement in the theft during interrogation,” he said.
Based on his disclosure, police recovered four stolen water motors, one pump and nearly 100 metres of spray pipe, allegedly stolen in the case, he said.
