SSP to contest all assembly seats in forthcoming election: President

JAMMU, Mar 1: President Sainik Samaj Party (SSP) J&K UT Col SS Pathania has declared that party will contest on all the assembly seats in the forthcoming elections.
This was decided in a meeting of the working committee and the resolution was approved unanimously.
Pathania said that the ideology of the party is to serve UT J&K and its people through a political platform and redefine the existing politics.
He informed that the party has finalised the candidates from Samba, Vijaypur, Jammu East, Jammu West, Jammu North, Jammu, Nagrota and Ramban constituencies and one constituency from Kashmir region.
He said that the party will give 35 per cent reservation to the women candidates, adding that work on the vision document has started encompassing all relevant issues for the welfare of the people and overall development. He said that the vision document of the party will be shared with the people shortly.
“Salient points of the vision documents are separate UT or State status to Jammu and protection of jobs for the local youth. There are some other points, which will be shared shortly”, he informed.
