SAMBA, Aug 27: SSP Samba, Dr. Abhishek Mahajan, here today organised a Darbar for Jawans of District Police Samba.
The Darbar was attended by Addl. SP Samba and all other Supervisory Officers, SHOs/IC PPs, I/C BPPs and police personnel from different subordinate units of the district.
Objective of Darbar was to interact with Jawans and listen their grievances for redressal.
At beginning of Darbar, the SSP appreciated the officers and Jawans for performing duties with dedication and to maintain the law and order in the district.
The officers/officials were hailed for their role in conduct of incident-free Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra, Independence Day celebrations and other festivals and fairs across the district.
The SSP listened to the grievances put forth by the Jawans and officers and assured that these would be looked into for appropriate redressal.
SSP Samba advised cops to focus on their duties and exercise maximum restraint while dealing with any law and order situation.
He further directed the Jawans to remain punctual and extra vigilant at their duty points to avoid any untoward incident.
Cops were also advised to remain mentally prepared to counter any future challenge.
The officials were assured that due care will be taken of their welfare measures.
