JAMMU, Mar 13: A Head Constable (HC) of Sema Shastra Bal (SSB) allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his rented accommodation in Arjun Vihar, Kunjwani.
As per reports, a Head Constable (HC) of SSB posted at Srinagar namely Kulwant Singh, son of Santokh Singh of Kathua, allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his rented accommodation in Arjun Vihar, Kunjwani, falling under the jurisdiction of Gangyal police station.
On getting information, police rushed to the spot and shifted the body to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where after conducting autopsy, the body was handed over to family members for last rites.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Gangyal police station and investigation started to ascertain the reason behind such extreme step.
