Sir,
The Central Govt had launched SSA scheme in year 2000 with a pious objective to universalise elementary education in far flung and hilly areas and according to this scheme a local candidate is engaged as community worker after the recommendation of village education committee. This scheme has been successful in imparting education to rural students near their homes without travelling long distance. But our State Govt while playing dirty vote bank politics has formulated transfer policy for ReT teachers and due to this they are eligible to get transferred from their original schools. Its harmful consequence is that rural area schools would again become defunct. This clearly shows that SSA scheme got derailed from its aims and objectives. Our politicians have to understand that it is their moral and ethical responsibility to provide education to poor students.
Yours etc….
