SSA, RMSA teachers without salary: JKTF

SRINAGAR, Jan 3: The Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) has alleged that teachers working under SSA/RAMSA in the State are without salary for many months.
JKTF spokesman said that the Forum held a today under the chairmanship of Provincial President Mohammad Afzal Bhat castigated the Government and the higher authorities of the Education Department for their apathy toward the techers,
“Withholding salary of teachers is a grave injustice and violation of human rights,” Bhat said, adding that the authorities at the helm should take immediate steps to release the salary of the teachers.
The members alleged that said an amount of Rs 100 crore of SSA and 23 crore of RMSA are pending in the Secretariat Treasury unnecessarily.
The Forum has also appealed to the Director School Education to convene the DPC meeting and confirm the recently promoted Masters so that they are relieved of their miseries.
