JAMMU, Jan 3: Two tourists among three persons were injured in a truck-car collision at Munna Market in Batote area of Ramban district.
The injured persons included two tourists namely Nilish (28) son of AP Mishra and Sandeep (28) son of Adia Shanker Mishra, both residents of Uttar Pradesh and the driver of the car, Shallo Ram (31) son of Ram Chand of Nagrota in Jammu.
The accident took place when the Indica car bearing registration No JK02AP-5776 and truck (having registration No JK18-0461) coming from opposite directions collided head on at Munna market in Batote area of Ramban district, this afternoon.
All the injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment. The Batote police has seized both the vehicles involved in the accident, arrested the truck driver and registered a case in this regard.
