BJP Displaced Unit discusses issues

JAMMU, Jan 3: BJP Displaced Unit general secretary Virender Kuchroo discussed the problems of displaced Pandits with BJP State president and M P Jugal Kishore Sharma and Party ognising general secretary Ashok Kaul here.
He informed them that the relief organization which has sought details from migrants has made no mention about the displaced traders in its performa and demanded that  displaced traders name by also included in it.
He also demanded waving of educational loan and simplification of procedure for migrants voting. Kuchroo said that despite the cumbersome procedure the migrants ensured over 75 percent voting for Valley seats while those enrolled for Jammu constituencies ensured over 80 percent voting.
Meanwhile a meeting of displaced unit was held here today under the chairmanship of T N Bhat in which it was said that 75 percent of displaced people from Valley voted for BJP. The meeting also resolved to strengthen the Party and demanded that the procedure for voting be simplified so that every registered migrant is eligible for vote without filling up M Forms.
The meeting also decided to launch membership drive soon.
