JAMMU, July 16: The J&K SRTC Voluntarily Retired Employees Association under the leadership of Dev Raj Bali, Association President here today staged a protest demonstration and raised their demands.
The protesters demanded arrears of Sixth Pay Commission from January 2006 and Cost of Living Allowance arrears from the year 1999.

The protesting retired employees of SRTC have appealed to the Governor, N.N Vohra to look into their demands as they have been protesting since long and during this period many of their colleagues have died in wait to see their demands being fulfilled.
Balwinder Singh, Surinder Singh, Deep Raj, D.N Sharma, Asan Allahi, B.B Sharma, Gulshan Singh, Shiv Kumar and others were also present in the protest.
