JAMMU, Jan 17: Shri Ram Sena (SRS) has expressed serious concern over the miserable plight of students and staff of institute of Music and Fine Arts (IMFA) Jammu who have not been provided permanent accommodation.
In a press conference, Shri Ram Sena, State president, Rajiv Mahajan said that Jammu University last year shifted the students and staff of IMFA from from unsafe institute building, Poonch House to rented accommodation at Tavish College, Channi Ram, but now the Tavish College management has issued vacation notice to the Institute but Jammu University authorities are silent over the issue.
Mahajan said it has been learnt that JU has decided to accommodate IMFA students in the Old University Campus, because GCET has shifted some where else from that campus. Mahajan warmed the Engineering College Principal to vacate the premises immediate and hand over to IMFA.
