SRO 202

Sir,
The new Job policy as framed by ruling Government of Jammu & Kashmir for the educated youth of J&K   in the form of SRO 202 on 30.06.2015 ,is not only violating minimum wages act (SRO 460,dated 26 Oct 2017) but also the Supreme Court Judgement of equal pay for equal work and  is said to be discriminatory and anti youth  policy of Government. The educated, skilled and well qualified candidates when selected for a Government job after passing through written tests and interviews conducted by recruiting agencies of JK ,competing thousands of applied candidates at state ,divisional and district levels are paid a meagre salary of 7000 to 8000 per month after appointment working equally as co employees who were appointed before 30.06.2015 and paid full salary.
Its pertinent to mention here that J&K being employment deficient, most of the youth get employed in thirties and are left with less service to serve departments which ranges between 20 to 28 years. The Class IV employees working in the department are getting higher than the newly appointed employee with skilled technical hands (Non-Gazetted) and counted at top in working class employees which results in inferiority complex and causes less devotion towards performing duties with zeal and zest.
Now, the need of hour is that ruling  Government should break the silence over the issue and abrogate the SRO 202 of new job policy  as was done by previous Government at an earlist to safeguard the future of educated youth of J&K.
Yours etc….
